Second Stage Players Nov. 20 & 21

The Second Stage Players Present "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"
Nov. 20 and 21 at 8 p.m. in the DuBois Theatre at Canton High School.

Six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. This is a hilarious musical comedy of overachievers' angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent "nerds" vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime.

At each show four volunteer audience members are recruited to participate as guest spellers. This new foursome guarantees a new set of hilarious and unexpected experiences, making one night just as unique as the one before it!
